The Sun City Post Office was established 19 August 1873 and discontinued 15 May 1894. It was established as the Sun Post Office on 6 June 1906 and operated under that name until 27 May 1909, when it again became the Sun City Post Office. -- Post Offices in Kansas, 1828-1961, The Kansas State Historical Society.
