The announcement that the little daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Vandegrift died at seven o'clock this morning will cause general regret in the city. The funeral will take place from the residence of John M. Price at 10:30 tomorrow morning.  Interment at Oak Hill.  Friends are invited without further notice.

The funeral of the late Major E. B. Grimes will take place at half past twelve o'clock tomorrow, from the family residence in South Atchison.  Fort Leavenworth will be represented by officers and a detachment of soldiery, and the city of Leavenworth by a committee of citizens.  Rev. F. T. Ingalls will conduct the services at the house and the Masons at the grave.  The interment will take place at Mt. Vernon.

The remains of Louise E. Emmeluth, wife of Homer Trimmer, and daughter of Mr. J. Emmeluth, of this city, arrived this morning from St. Louis.  Deceased was twenty nine years of age, and has resided in West Atchison until a few months ago, when she removed with her husband to St. Louis.  The funeral services will be held at the residence of her father, 1309 Commercial street, at three o'clock tomorrow, the Rev. F. T. Ingalls officiating. Internment will take place at Mount Vernon.
