Grover & Nannie Gabbard gave permission for Ada their daughter to marry Russell Parker. Signed 14 Feb 1936.

Ada G. GABBARD and James Russell PARKER were married on 14 February 1936 in Jackson County, Kentucky. James Russell PARKER was born on 5 May 1915 in Kentucky. He died on 27 September 1997 at the age of 82 in Indiana.

+1736	i.	Etta Mae PARKER was born on 13 January 1933 in Laurel County, Kentucky. She died on 8 January 1997 at the age of 63 in Pickaway County, Ohio. Etta's marriage record, Butler Co, Ohio Groom: Russell Higgins, 23 last birthday, born in Ohio, residence Butler Co, Ohio. Apprentice and minister. Father: Francis Raymond Higgins; mother: Mattie B. Burchfield, first marriage Bride: Etta M. Parker, age 18 last birthday, born in KY, residence Butler Co. Father: Russell J. Parker; mother: Ada Gabbard. First marriage License issued and married 20 Oct 1951 Both the 1940 census and her marriage record indicate that Etta Mae was likely born about 1933 but her parents were not married until 1936. This brings into question whether or not she was truly a Parker. The several autosomal matches I have to this Gabbard line indicate that Ada Gabbard was certainly her mother. The Ohio death records state she was born 13 Jan 1937 in Kentucky. She died at Berger Hospital, Circleville, Pickaway Co, Ohio on 8 Jan 1997. Parents' surnames were "Russell" (that was her father's given name) and Gabbert. She was married.
1737	ii.	Nannie Ruth PARKER was born on 9 June 1942 in Laurel County, Kentucky. She died on 15 March 1983 at the age of 40 in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio.
1738	iii.	Loretta Sue PARKER was born on 24 May 1947. She died on 21 August 1989 at the age of 42 in Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida.
+1739	iv.	Edward Wayne PARKER was born on 7 February 1939 in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio. He died on 3 March 2019 at the age of 80 in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio.
