Clara Mae GABBARD was born on 8 November 1945 in Foreman, Little River County, Arkansas. She died on 23 November 2015 at the age of 70 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.

Clara Mae Betts, 70, of Magnolia, passed from this life Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Clara was born Nov. 8, 1945 in Foreman to the late Everett Ray Gabbard and Leara Idell Anderson Gabbard.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Smith and Barbara Stuart; and one brother, Tony Gabbard.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ron Betts of Magnolia; three children, Reb Betts and significant other Lynne Rogers of Little Rock, Christy Betts Baldwin and husband Tim of Magnolia, and Lonnie Betts and wife Donna of Rockwall, Texas; seven grandchildren, Shaley Betts Leib and husband Brett of Cocoa, Fla., Joshua Baldwin and wife Kaitlin of Ruston, La., Hayden Baldwin of Magnolia, Anne Bowen, Max Bowen, Claire Betts and Everett Betts, all of Rockwall; one great-grandson, Elliott Leib of Cocoa; two brothers, Louis Gabbard and wife Caron of Pryor, Okla., and Leroy Gabbard and wife Jackie of Miami, Okla.; two sisters, Diane Nolen and husband Wayne of Foreman, and Debbie Rogers of Florida; a brother-in-law, William Smith of Bridge City, Texas; and numerous children she helped raise in her home and at the daycare.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29 at Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30 at Jackson Street Church of Christ in Magnolia with Bro. Brian Mickey and Bro. Buddy Chisolm officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Park, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Magnolia.
