Mrs. Ida B. Gabbard, 78, of Fayetteville died in a local hospital Sunday. She was born Feb. 29, 1896 in Richland, the daughter of Elijah and Elizabeth Upton Davis.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ocie Schneeberger of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mrs. Bonnie Bigger and Miss Marie Gabbard, both of Fayetteville; two sons, William H. of Fayetteville and James of Vacaville, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Bushman of Wenatchee, Wash., Mrs. Maggie Rosebeary of Lommis, Calif., and Mrs. Jewell Hudson of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral service was2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home with burial in Mount Comfort Cemetery (Fayetteville, Washington Co, AR)

Mytle Marie GABBARD was born on 22 January 1929 in Saint Paul, Madison County, Arkansas. She died on 23 June 2017 at the age of 88 in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas.

Myrtle Marie Gabbard, age 88, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Marie was born January 22, 1929 in Saint Paul, Arkansas to George Edward and Ida Belle (Davis) Gabbard.
Marie was a lifelong resident of Arkansas. Early childhood was in Saint Paul, and then Fayetteville, for her remaining years.
She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and while still able, attended University Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
She worked for the Orthopedic Clinic, and Washington Regional Medical Center from which she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William Harvey Gabbard, and James Henry Gabbard; and one sister, Iva Ocie (Gabbard) Schneeberger.
Marie is survived by one sister, Bonnie A. Bigger of Fayetteville; six nephews; two nieces; and numerous grand-nephews, and grand-nieces.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Washington Regional Medical Center for their professional yet caring attendance to Marie.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2017 at Mount Comfort Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, Arkansas (adjacent to the cemetery).
