He divorced Violet before 1960 and married Rose B. Shook, 4 Nov 1960, in San Diego.

Daniel Harrison METCALF and Violet Ida RIDENOUR were married about 1938. Violet Ida RIDENOUR, daughter of Edward Jacob RIDENOUR and Minnie Frances BURNS, was born on 8 February 1920. She died on 25 December 2007 at the age of 87.

No child of this name is in the census records with the Ridenour family - yet FindAGrave, FamilySearch, Ancetry trees all have placed her here. If she wasn't a daughter of Edward Jacob - he had a number of brothers and most of the families were in this same area.

On the same page is Levertt Ridenour, age 39, b. MO and his wife Violet, age 29 - I think his family should be investigated for possible connections to Violet Ida. This couple was in Barry Co in 1930. FindAGrave states his name as Levert Louis Ridenour - if so, in 1920, age 19, he was in the household of George W. & Almyra Ridenour.
