The PINEVILLE HERALD, Friday, February 1932:
George C. Harrison died at his home in Rocky Comfort Friday morning, Feb. 26, at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 6 days. Heart trouble was the cause of his death. Deceased was a highly respected citizen and was a member of the Christian church. He leaves a wife, one son, six daughters and a large number of other relatives and friends. He had been the Republican committeeman from Rocky Comfort for several years. Funeral services were held at the grave Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Hartsell of Rocky Comfort. Burial was in the Rocky Comfort cemetery.

George Canady HARRISON and Sarah A. BAKER were married on 8 November 1883 in Crawford County, Arkansas. Sarah A. BAKER, daughter of George Matthew BAKER and Eliza Jane GABBARD, was born on 26 October 1864 in Jackson County, Kentucky. She died on 17 March 1950 at the age of 85 in Madison County, Arkansas.
