Mrs. Minnie M. Evans, wife of Harry H. Evans, of Hanover Heights, passed away early Saturday evening at her home of a heart attack. She was aged 63 years and 28 days. Mrs. Evans had been in the garden picking strawberries when she suddenly collapsed. She was the daughter of Adeline (nee Miller) and Enos Shaner. Deceased was a member of Zion's Reformed Church and the Ladies Aid Society of that church. Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Cora, wife of Russel Hunsberger, of Pottstown; Nellie S., wife of Ralph Cramer, Palmyra; Ada, wife of Lawrence Garner, Pottstown; Herman, Hanover Heights; Lillian, at home. Also 16 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Clarence Shaner, Cedarville; Warren Shaner, of North Coventry; Harvey Shaner, Pottstown Landing; and Ada, wife of Leon Rinewalt, South Pottstown. The funeral will be held privately from her late home in Hanover Heights on Wednesday at 2:00. Interment in Mt. Zion cemetery.
