Franklin T. Evans, a prominent citizen of Phoenixville, died on Sunday forenoon, aged about 60 years. He was a son of the late Mordecai Evans, of Pughtown, and a brother of Hon. I. N. Evans, of Hatboro, member of Congress from Montgomery county. Deceased had been ill for some time, and his death was not unexpected. He had followed the business of veterinary surgeon for some years, and was a genial citizen, having numerous friends and a wide acquaintanceship. His wife and several children survive him.
