To the Honorable the Judges of the Court of Common pleas in and for the county of Chester, now composing and holding an Orphan’s Court, in and for the same county – The petition of Jacob Keely one of the children and heirs of Elizabeth Keely late of the township of Vincent in said county deceased.

That the said Elizabeth Keeley, the mother of your petitioner lately to within the year one thousand eight hundred and seven died intestate, leaving a issue seven children and two grandchildren, to wit, children, John Keely, Matthias Keely, Jacob Keely, your petitioner, Andrew Keely, George Keely, Joseph Keely, and Elizabeth intermarried with Abraham Bateman, and grandchildren, Maria Gracia Keely, and Saint Sebastian Keely, who are still under the age of twenty one years, the children of Sebastian Keely, a deceased son of the said Elizabeth Keely deceased, and that the said Intestate was in her life time and at the time of her death, seized in her demesne as of fee of and in a certain messuage plantation and tract of land with the appurtenances, situate in Vincent aforesaid bounded by lands of George Snyder, John Young, Conrad Miller, John Ralston, and others, containing one hundred and fifty seven acres be the same more or less.

Your petitioner therefore prays your Honors to award an inquest to make partition of the premises aforesaid to and among the children and representatives of the said Intestate, in such manner as is prescribed by the several laws of this commonwealth in that case made and provided, or to value and appraise the same according to the directions of the same laws.
