  3. Ma-Bay-Colony. A mailing list for those with a genealogical/historical interest in the Massachusetts Bay Colony from 1630-1700 (no later) which, other than Plymouth Colony, included the areas from Boston to Springfield, Massachusetts; southern Maine; coastal/southern New Hampshire; coastal Connecticut and the Connecticut River Valley in Massachusetts and Connnecticut; and Rhode Island. This list is a good place for those who know little of the early history of New England towns and can be used in conjunction with individual county lists. A mailing list for anyone with a genealogical or historical interest in Old Rehoboth, Massachusetts, which includes present day Rehoboth as well as the Massachusetts communities of Attleboro, North Attleboro, Seekonk and Swansea and the Rhode Island communities of Barrington, Cumberland, East Providence and Pawtucket which were wholly or partially within the colonial boundaries of the town of Rehoboth.   16. RI-CEMETERIES. A mailing list for anyone interested in locating, and preserving historical information about, Rhode Island cemeteries. We welcome queries and postings regarding location of graves, cemeteries which have been indexed both on the internet and in other written forms, cemetery research, and the care of tombstones.   17. RI-CENSUS. A mailing list for the volunteers who are engaged in transcribing Rhode Island census records in support of the USGenWeb Census Project to discuss the status of the project. Information on available records and volunteers can be found on the Census Project's Rhode Island web site.   18. RI-CENSUS-LOOKUP. A mailing list for anyone desiring a check of Rhode Island census records for their ancestors. Requests should be as specific as possible and include county name, specific family of interest, and year whenever possible. In addition, those who own or have access to census records and are willing to do lookups are asked to subscribe and assist in responding to queries.
