The Land Tax Assessment records (kept on microfilm at the County
Archives, Swansea] show George as a tenant at Cadley, Parcel Penthery in
1773/74. In 1776/77 he appears as the tenant at Tyr y Lan, again in
Parcel Penthery. He is still there in 1777/78, and in 1779/80 (when the
property has become Tyr llan], 1781/82 (when it is Tyr Land), 1782/83
[Tyr Reha nr Cadle], and 1784/85 (Tyr Lan Cadle].
