A survey of dissenters in Glamorgan in 1786 recorded the existence of a
meeting house in the following terms: "Llantrithyd. Independent ; the
dwelling house of Edward Morris called Horse-Land". Amongst the
membership are to be found William Jeremiah, Jenkin Jeremiah and Jenkin
Jeremiah Jnr. It is not known whether it is this William Jeremiah, but
the dates fit. The two Jenkins are unidentified at present. Llantrithyd
is a parish in the Cowbridge area of Glamorgan.
