John (aged 25), an iron works labourer, and Mary (aged 25) appear in the
1841 Census living at the Machine House in the parish of Trevethin with
their child Martha. Also living with them was James Jeremiah aged 20, a
smith, and George Clapman, an iron works labourer.
In the 1891 census he appears living with his son William and the
latter's family at Avon Road, Llanover Upper.
