1841 Census shows Richard age 25, labourer, living in Trevethin with his
wife Maria and children Banjamin age 4, Ann age 2 and William age 2
months.
1851 Census shows the family still living together in Trevethin, but
William has disappeared, presumably dead. Richard is described as
"Forgeman (rail straightener)".
