1841 Census shows Jacob as age 30, haulier. living in Pontypool with his
wife Rachel age 45 and three children with the surname Jones, which must
have been from Rachel's previous marriage.
1851 Census shows them living together in Trevethin with two remaining
Jones step-children (Henry age 22, bookkeeper and Martha age 19) and a
visiting Rachel age 22 (now married with the surname Guddens) with her
infant Henrietta age 2.
