1841 Census shows John as aged 15, "Carpenter" living at home with his
parents and siblings at The Eagle Public House. The 1851 Census shows
him as "sawyer" living with his wife at Bridge End.
1861 Census shows him as a "Forger" living with his wife and two children
at Three Compass, Clydach Village. 1881 census shows them with four more
children and mother-in-law Elizabeth JOHN living at 889 Neath Road,
Clase. 1891 census shows just the parents and the youngest child living
at 62 Dillwyn Street, Morriston.
