Richard was a schoolmaster (later Headmaster) and Justice of the Peace in
Blackwood as well as being a part-time farmer.
Probate of his Will was granted at Llandaff on 2 June 1927 to his two
daughters. Address at time of death was Pentwyn House, Blackwood. Estate
valued at £10,666.9s.4d.
