Peter Runfola

Peter Runfola, the Recording Secretary of the Italian Laborers Union, was born in a village called Valled Olmo [sic], Province of Palermo, Island of Sicily, Italy, September 21st, 1870, where he received his early training, after which he began life as a clerk. He was one of the promoters of the Italtan [sic] Labor Union, which was formed in 1892, and was its Recording Secretary, continually (except 1896) since 1892. He is a delegate to the United Trades and Labor Council, and is a member of the Italian Beneficient Society Humbert No. 1, King of Italy; he is also a member of another beneficient society (Jesus Crocifisso) where he is the Financial Secretary. He is married and resides at 45 Trenton Avenue.
