When the Griffith's Valuation was conducted for Turlough Civil Parish in 1857, Roman Catholic Chapels were present in the Townlands of Crumlin and Park, the Townland of Drumdaff had a Church of undocumented affiliation and there was also a Presbyterian Meeting House and a Methodist Meeting House in the Townland of Turlough. A Graveyard was present in the Townland of Turlough.
