Irish Families in the 1880 St. Joseph Church Census, South Bend, Indiana with Father's Surname J-L

Regarding Surname Kenney: There is a notation in the margin of the Thomas Kenney family record that states that Maria was married in Huntington Indiana and Thomas was married in Hartford Indiana. Miss Clemence is listed as a protestant guest. A notation in the margin of the John Kenney/Adeline King family record states that John is a Protestant who left the family for the second time.

Regarding Surname Larden: McCarthey is an Irish Surname so I have included the Larden family on this page. There is a notation that says that son Timothy is married and after daughter Mary's name it says St. Patrick's Church.

Regarding Surname Larrain: Larrain is not an Irish Surname but his spouse's surname Hagan, is Irish so I have included them in this section.

Regarding Surname Lanniswinde: I am really unsure of Joseph's surname, as it is difficult to interpret. It does not appear to be an Irish Surname but Powers, his spouse's surname, is so it is included on this page.
