The Poulnabrone Dolmen in the Burren area of County Clare is one of Ireland's most famous Burial Tombs. Remains that were unearthed and analyzed from this site date back well beyond 2500 B.C. The Term Poulnabrone means "Pool of the Sorrows." This Megalithic Burial Tomb is one of many that are dotted throughout the Burren.
