Mayo Civil Parish Townlands, Churches and Graveyards, County Mayo, Ireland
When the Griffith's Valuation was conducted for Mayo Civil Parish in 1856, there was a Roman Catholic Church in the Townland of Mayo Parks and a church (undesignated officiation) in the Townland of Gortaphuntaun. There were no Graveyards documented in the Valuation for this Civil Parish. The Majority of this Civil Parish fell within Clanmorris Barony and a small portion fell within Kilmaine Barony. One Townland, Curry Macmanus, was split between the two different baronies. I will put a (k) after any Townlands that were in Kilmaine Barony to help differentiate them.
