When the Griffith's Valuation was conducted for Kilmainemore Civil Parish, there was one Roman Catholic Chapel, in the Townland of Frenchbrook North and a church (undocumented affiliation) in the Village of Kilmaine (part of the Townland of Kilmaine). There was an "Old Abbey Graveyard" and what appears to be another Graveyard in the Village of Kilmaine as well.
