Irish Families in District 20 of the 1851 Huddersfield England Census Records with Surnames A-C
If a lodger or visitor living with a family is acknowledged as being related to the head of the household they will be included with that family even though their surname may be out of alphabetical order.
Special Note: Mary Carrabra and her son James, daughter and grandson of Hugh Tahanny of Sligo, Ireland are in the S-T section with the Tahanny family. Thomas Cawley of Galway Ireland is in the J-L section, the son of Winifred Kelly. Catherine, Maria, and Thomas Connely are nieces and nephew of Thomas Kelly and are listed in the J-L section. Catherine Brennan, mother in law of John Galvin is documented with his family in section G-I.
