Gahagan (Goaghan, Goghan, Geoghegan, Gaughan) Families in Crossmolina Catholic Parish, County Mayo Ireland with Spouse's Surname A-C
I have only seen the variant Gaughan thus far in the early years of this film. The records are extremely faded and difficult to read. The following compilation is my best interpretation of what I found.
Regarding the Townland of Xmolina: I believe that this is just an abbreviation for Crossmolina which was actually a 126 acre townland in the Civil Parish of Crossmolina.
Ballybrinoge was a 192 acre Townland in Crossmolina Civil Parish. There were no Corcoran occupiers of property in the 1856 Griffith's Valuation.
