The John J Shields and Anna E (Annie) Frain Family of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana
Anna E or Annie Frain married John J Shields (documented as Shields on the church marriage record and marriage license but later confirmed as Shields on their Children's marriage and other records) on September 28, 1875. They appear to have had at least three children (Katie, Marion and Anthony) and John J is listed as being widowed by the time the 1900 census is conducted.
