Corcoran Families in Boyle Roman Catholic Parish, County Roscommon, Ireland with Spouse's Surnames O-R
Father Jacobus Tyrell was the Parish Priest until 1794. He died July 27 and Roger Byrne was the Priest after this.
Regarding Surname Corcoran vs Concanon and Corcaran: I have had a difficult time deciphering and differentiating the surnames Corcoran/ Corcanan in this film. The first portion of the surname clearly appears as "Cor" and not "Con." The Brig'a Plunkett and Michl Corcanan Family is one such example. They are included in this compilation until I can proved them not to be a surname derivitive unrelated to the surname Corcoran. I believe they are Corcorans because later records by this same priest document Patric's Quin and Hon'a Corcaran or Corcanan when earlier baptisms show Corkran.
