The Connemara, County Galway, Ireland: A Diverse Unspoiled Landscape Dominated by the Twelve Bens Mountain Range; Home to Bogs, Grassland, a National Park and Unique Towns Rich in Gaelic Culture

The Connemara in County Galway Ireland is a rugged region bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, filled with lakes, blanket bogs, grassland, divided by a picturesque mountain range, the Twelve Bens and numerous unique towns worth visiting. This area has a magical quality; descriptions would fall short in doing it justice. The "rushy glen" found in the Connemara is just the place I would imagine a Leprechaun or Unicorn taking up residence.
