Coffel vs Coffee:
The early years of film 1279233 have been extremely hard to read. I am finding numerous families with what appears to be the Caffel or Coffel surname and not Coffee. They include Pat Coffel or Caffel and Mary Reily, Martinus (1860)of Patritius Caffle and Brigida O'Brien, Antonius (1880) and Michael (1883) of Martinus O' Brien and Maria Caffle. I have saved them in an excel file but I have not included them in this section at this point because I don't feel they are Coffee Families.
I have noted the following Caffels in film 926020: Anna Caffel married Mich'l Rock? August 25, 1823, Mary Caffel married James O'Brien May 7, 1828 (Tullanacully?), Michl Caffel and Bridt O'Donnal (2/1841) and Bridget Caffel married Martin O'Malley (3/18/1842). There are many baptisms for Caffels in this film as well. I am documenting them in an excel file. Please contact me if you feel that your family may be in these records.
