IRISH CHURCHES

Welcome to my Irish Churches Project.

The purpose of these pages is to provide a site where researchers are able to view pictures of the churches attended by their ancestors.

This project relies on the generous contribution of photographs taken by those fortunate enough to have travelled to various parts of Ireland, so if you have a photograph which you would like to donate, please contact me and I will add it to the site.

To assist me in getting pictures on to the site as fast as possible it would be a great help if people contributing photos could provide as many of the following details as possible:  the name of the church (ie St. John's, St. Mary's etc..), the parish and diocese to which it belongs and the denomination as well as the county in which it is located and the town or village if appropriate.  Of course any details concerning the history of the church would also be welcome.

Don't be put off if you don't have all these details, just tell me as much as you know.
