Fritz, died Saturday at Cooper Rest Home of Bluffton. Born May 10, 1884 in Wells County, she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Robinson Hoopingarner. Her marriage to Mr. Fritz, who died in 1960, took place March 29, 1902. Surviving are a son, Jay J. of Rt. 1 Markle; two brother, Paul Hoopingarner of Ossian and Dee Hoopingarner of Palmetto, Fla., a sister, Mrs. Earl Neith of Rome City, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services were today at the United Methodist Church in Zanesville with Rev. William Dean officiating. Burial in Hoverstock Cemetery with Elzey Funeral Home in Ossian in charge. ( April 18, 1971 ) FryBack Homer F., 80 of 305 McKinnie Ave., Fort Wayne, died Wednesday at his home. A native of Wells County, he had owned and operated Fry grocery at Anthony Blvd. and Pontiac St. for 50 years. He was a Fort Wayne resident for most of his life. Surviving are his wife, Selma; a son, Homer W. of Fort Wayne, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Sandra J. Young of Fort Wayne; a brother, Walter E. of Lansing, Mich; and a sister, Mrs. Meda King of Ossian. Services will be Saturday at D.O. Mc Comb and Sons Funeral Home, burial in Fairview Cememtery at Bluffton ( Jan 9 1974 ) Fryback, Donald S., 64, of 2315 Montclair Ave., Fort Wayne, a native of Ossian, died Sunday pm while vactioning in Harrison, Mich. He was a business teacher at Elmhurst High School. Surviving are the wife, Vickie, tow sons. Norman L. and Gary, and a daughter, Mrs. Richard Brown, all of Fort Wayne; his mother, Mrs. Jennie Fryback of Ossian and 6 grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at Klaehn Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery at Ossian ( April 4, 1971 ) Gehrett, Edwin, 59 died Monday at his home, 1315 Hunter Rd. Born Nov 25, 1913 in Wells County, he was a son of Sherman and Lillie Davis Gehrett. His marriage to Gladys Messick, who survives, took place Jan. 27 1940 in Bluffton. In addition to the wife he is survived by four children, Ronald of Simi, Calif., David, Dean and Sheeny, all at home: A sister Mrs. Homer ( Lucile ) Huss of Bluffton, and two grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at the Thoma Funeral Home, burial in Fairview Cemetery, ( Feb. 26, 1974 ) Gehrett, Homes, 80 Of Indianapolis, a Wells County native, died today in Community Hospital at Indianapolis, A son of Samuel Gehrett, he was born Feb 13, 1894. His marriage July 4, 1918 in Wells County was to the former Iva Settle, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mars. William ( Jane ) Upton of Indianapolis, and two half sisters. Services in charge of Thoma -Rich Funeral Home are pending. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. ( Sept. 5, 1974 )
