Project Status: This cemetery was a woods ten years ago. I believe it was cleaned up by the boy scouts around this time. The cemetery has been mowed by private individuals who were concerned about its care during the years following. There is a stone quarry, owned by Barret Paving Materials Inc., next to the cemetery. They have generously been mowing the cemetery for the last two years. Before the project began, there were many fallen, leaning and broken stones that were in need of care. Wayne County held its first Cemetery Restoration Workshop here on September 13, 2003. Click here to view photos from the workshop. On this date and on the work days in the following weeks, we were able to fix many stones that were in need. This project is about 60 % completed.

Permission: Granted by the Franklin Township Trustee, John Roll.
