Tea Pioneer Cemetery Restoration Project 2003-2004 |
Thanks to C.J. Baker for choosing
the Tea cemetery as his Eagle project.
This cemetery was last cleaned
up in the 1960's. As you can see it was
very overgrown. Trees were removed
and stacked around the old fence.
THANK YOU
C.J. and all your great volunteers !
The (TCCRG) Tippecanoe County Cemetery Restoration Group is proud to share this
project with this young man in his effort to reach Eagle Scout static. C.J worked
with fellow scouts and adults to clear out a great numbers of trees. We can now find
the the early pioneer stones in this cemetery. There appears to be nine or ten rows
of stones along with most of the footstones. His efforts along with many helpful
hands will make our work easier in resetting and repairing these family monuments.Project Coordinator: Tippecanoe County Boy Scout; C. J. Baker.
