Greenbush Cemetery workday June 25 2007
Lafayette, Indiana, Tippecanoe County
On June 25th members of the Tippecanoe
County Genealogy Society and Cemetery Restoration Group met a young
group of volunteers from all over the United States. It was a
wonderful afternoon of sharing our history and working
to record the oldest cemetery in Lafayette. Learning how to clean
and photograph was the job of the day and these
young folks stepped up with wonderful energy and respect. We enjoyed
each one of you and THANK YOU ALL
for your willingness to contribute.
Greenbush is being photographed and
recorded by sections. Many older family monuments are not readable
or are missing. You may search what we found and entered so far on GREENBUSH
FIND-A-GRAVE website.
