Lake County Naturalizations Index

In the spring of 1989, the Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society was given permission by Lake County, Indiana, Circuit Court Clerk to remove the naturalization records for Crown Point for copying purposes. The Lake County Reference Library provided a copy machine and acid-free paper for the purpose of copying the books. The work of copying, indexing, and alphabetizing was provided by members of the Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society.

These books since have been removed to the State Archives, for preservation.
