WALKED FOUR MILES WHILE IN DELIRIUM (by Star Special Service)

Barefooted and Thinly Clad Elwood Boy, Sick With Fever is Exposed

FOUND IN FARMER'S HOUSE

Elwood, Ind., Dec. 3.- Jerry Hupp, son of George W. Hupp, while suffering in a delirium caused by an attack of fever, left his bed at an early hour this morning and escaped from the residence without being discovered.

Barefooted and clad only in an undershirt and a pair of trousers, the young man walked over the rough country roads until he reached the farm home of William Vestal, four miles south of this city. When Mr. Vestal arose this morning to start a fire, he was surprised to find Hupp sitting in a chair, hovering over a cold stove. He was unable to explain the presence.

The young man was taken to his home today where he is resting easily. Fear is entertained for his recovery as it is thought the shock and exposure will bring on complications of a serious nature.
