This Evening, with the installation services of the Rev. G.W. Dunlap in the Elwood Lutheran church at Elwood, the sermon of which will be preached by the Rev. C. R. Dunlap, pastor of the English Lutheran church, of Muncie, a very peculiar situation will be presented. Probably never before in the history of the state has a son delivered the sermon at the installation of his father.

The Rev. C. R. Dunlap is one of the youngest ministers in the Lutheran church and is filling his first call here. He was ordained to the ministry on October 20, 1902, and came immediately to Muncie. Before studying for the ministry he was a reporter for two years on one of the Dayton papers and made a marked success. One of the officiating ministers at his ordination was his own father, who has been a preacher for many years and was then in Cleveland, O. Recently the elder Rev. Mr. Dunlap was extended a call by the congregation of the Elwood church, which he accepted, and this evening his own son, whom he ordained into the ministry two years ago, will install his father into his new charge.
