Condition:
This cemetery is township owned, mowed and fenced. Cascade Junior
High students, under the direction of Jessica Felix, restored the cemetery
in 2004-5. Before restoration, the cemetery was in deplorable condition.
Many stones were sinking below the ground, broken, and piled. Each of the
stones was cleaned, repaired, and reset. It is now a fine example
of an early pioneer cemetery.
Photos of individual stones have been entered in
Find-A-Grave
.
