Lockman
WILLIAM LOCKMAN GRAVE
Eel River Township, Hendricks County, Indiana
SW ¼ of Sec 22, T17N R2W

Not found. According to previous lists, the cemetery is in the northwest corner of SR75 where it jogs east then north, north of North Salem, east of the creek. The current landowners (since 1972) don’t know of any grave.
A previous reading lists William Lockman as dying in 1880.  There are no Lockmans in the area on the 1870 or 1880 censuses, but there are William Lockharts and Lockridges.  Another possibility is that this is actually William D. Long, who owned the land on the west side of the creek (now the Kidd Farm).  This could be a grave in the destroyed Adair Cemetery .
