This cemetery is on the grounds of what is now the Plainfield Re-Entry Educational
Facility (
Indiana Department of Corrections
). It would be best to call ahead and gain permsission. Go to
the visitor's entrance and obtain an escort. The cemetery is just west of
the Superintendent’s office.

Condition:
This cemetery is mowed but not fenced. The stones are all similar
concrete blocks with slanted tops. The letters appear to have been
stamped into the wet concrete. They are all painted white. The
stones contain minimal information, just name and year born and died.
They appear to be maintained by new coats of paint, which has made most of
