ILLNESS FATAL TO MABLE COLE Miss Mabel Cole, nee Case, forty-two, former resident of Marion, died early Friday at her home in Bayonne, N.J., according to word received by relatives here Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Christy Street United Brethren Church,Rev. Walter Gibson will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. cemetery. The body will arrive here at 11:30 a.m. Monday and will be taken to the home of a brother, Aldine Case, 840 East Bradford street, to remain until time of the funeral. Miss Cole was born in Marion July 16, 1899. She was employed in department stores until she moved from here to New Jersey in 1928. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Bessie Cole, Bayonne, N.J.; her father, Louis N. Case, Marion and one brother, Aldine Case, Marion. TULAREMIA BLAMED Columbus, Ind., Dec. 6. (AP)�Tularemia was blamed for death of Richard Dee Terrill, twenty-three, of Jonesville. Terrill, who had cleaned a rabbit, died in an Indianapolis hospital after 16 days' sickness. DROWNING BLAMED East Chicago, Ind., Dec. 6. (AP)�Drowning and not a heart attack caused death of Jack O'Connor, seventy, of Garrett, engineer of a Baltimore and Ohio locomotive that plunged into the Indiana Harbor ship canal, it was reported today after an autopsy. No passengers on the train, the Diesel-drawn Shenandoah, were hurt in the wreck Tuesday night. RITES SET FOR FAIRMOUNT GIRL Fairmount, Ind., Dec. 6.�Funeral services for Miss Donna Jean Heck, 20-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Heck, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at 425 North Main street. Rev. C.L. Rees , pastor of the Rigdon Methodist Church will conduct the rites. Burial will be in Park cemetery. Miss Heck died at 9 p.m. Friday at the home of her parents four and a half miles southwest of Fairmount in Liberty township. The body will be returned to the residence at 9:30 a.m. Sunday to remain there until time of the funeral services. Miss Heck had been ill for the last year. She was a graduate of Fairmount High School with the class of 1938. The parents survive. EDNA SPEIDEL DIES SUDDENLY Funeral Services to Be Held Monday for Blackford County Resident. Hartford City, Ind., Dec. 6�Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Speidel, 45, wife of Joe Speidel, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of a Hartford City funeral home. Mrs. Speidel died suddenly Friday at her home seven miles northwest of here following a heart attack. She has been suffering from a heart ailment for the past year. Survivors include the husband; eight children, Adelma Earl Speidel, Wabash, and Bernitta, Betty,Harold Dean, Bobby Joe, Jackie Lee, Jimmie and Gene, all at home; her mother Mrs. Isaac Harrold, Hartford City; a grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Omer Huston, Hartford City; a brother, Sherman Harrold, near Montpelier; an uncle, Jack Cunningham, and an aunt, Jennie Cunningham, both of Hartford City.
