Seeking information and will share information for about 500 descendants of John J. BOWMAN, Sr. and his two wives. He had 13 children with first wife and two with his second wife. My John J. BOWMAN, Sr., b. Oct. 20, 1781, and his second wife Mary ROMESBERG BOWMAN and their family,(with his son John J. Bowman, Jr.,) left Somerset County, PA, and settled in Elkhart County in about 1865. Other sons and daughters were with them. Other members stayed behind in PA. MD, and VA (now WV). Have received information that John J. BOWMAN , Sr. is buried at the Rock Run Church of Clinton Township. Need to learn more about the BOWMAN surname and allied families for the Elkhart County area of IN. Seek your help??
