I am looking for help or just plain good advice on how to find a death record for my ancestor Gideon Long. Family tells that Gideon and his wife Elizabeth are buried in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Goshen, IN in the paupers section. Which means no stones?! We contacted the courthouse and found the death certificate for Elizabeth but there doesnot seem to be one for Gideon. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they know if any cemetery records are kept there and who I can contact to find them. Gideon supposedly died Jan. 26, 1898. He had a son Ben that lived in Goshen and "assume" that maybe he lived with him since he lived up in Kalamazoo County, MI until 1890. I would appreciate any help! Thank you Lisa Long Adrian, MI
