Not too long ago, a message was posted regarding Oakridge Cemetery in Goshen. 
 As I was browsing sites this weekend, I ran across the Elkhart County 
Genealogy Society website, which lists various publications that they put 
out.  There is a publication of Burials in Oakridge Cemetery, which is an 
index of all buriels, including maiden names, when available.  I would 
suggest you check out the website at:  
http://www.rootsweb.com/~inelkhar/ecgs.htm  .  It is a bit on the expensive 
side, but it may be worth it to you.  Hope this helps.

I know of one child:

George Washington PAYNE
b 4 May 1854 Indiana
md 1884 Goshen, Elkhart, Indiana
TO
Rosa BURNETT  d/o James BURNETT
b 22 Dec 1866 Madison county, Kentucky

They were parents of 3 children:

Nettie was born probably Elkhart county, Indiana (for sure Indiana)
Lester b Indiana ...died of burns at 18 months
Theresa was born in Pike county, Indiana

Both of these lines BURNETT & PAYNE / PAINE qualify for my 'dead end'
file... you know the file where no one had parents...where they just
happened!
