Hi All,

    Sorry for anyone who receives this message from the other lists I sent
to.

    I just cleaned out a storage area that my siblings and I had rented
back in 1991
to store my mom's things after we sold her house.  Well, wrapped up in a
piece of
cloth and stuffed into a tote bag of sorts I found the WADE FAMILY BIBLE. 
This
bible is from 1868 when my g-grandparents were married.  I was ecstatic to
say the
least.  Inside of this bible there are quite a few tintypes and very old
photos most in
very good condition.  
   If anyone, to their knowledge, is related to ALPHONSO and METTIE (SMITH)
WADE, children  WILLIAM R. , BENJAMIN A., and CLARENCE I would be happy 
to share these photos with them.  I also found ALPHONSO and METTIE original

marriage certificate from 9/19/1867.  They were married in Michigan
probably Leonidas since that was where  METTIE was from.  It doesn't state
the county or city of marriage but 
does state that it is a State of Michigan Marriage Certificate.  The
witness' were ASA and LOUISA MUNYON and the minister was EMORY CURTIFS(?).
  As I stated above METTIE was from Leonidas, Michigan.  ALPHONSO was born
in Elkhart County, Indiana.  ALPHONSO and METTIE lived in St. Joseph,
County,
Indiana most of their lives.

Benjamin married Grace Viola Hilton, born in Cass Co, MI, whose mother was
Elvira Smith (married to Francisco Hilton.)

I don't know if Benjamin and his father, David, were related to Alphonzo or
not, but they were living in the same vicinity, so it's very likely that they
are.

Looking for information on birth and death, also siblings of Daniel Rink,
have some of his ancestors, and some descendant info to share.  He married
Paulina (also found as Polly and Paula) Rogers in 1876. They show on the
1880 census with two children, my ggrandfather, was their son also, b.
1882, Henry Rink.  This family was in Elkhart Co., Benton and Clinton
twp,in the Millersburg area back to 1837.  Anyone with information on any
members of this family please contact me.  I will be glad to share what I
have.

Hi Donna,

    My grandfather's name was BENJAMIN ALPHONSO WADE.  I have a picture
of a gentleman and written on the back of it "This is the BENJAMIN WADE
that
Pop (that's what we called him) is named after."  The picture looks to be
about 
the turn-of-the-century.  Do you have a picture of your BENJAMIN?  Also do
you
have any of his siblings names?
