LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JOHN J. TREESH
I, John J. Treesh of Grant Township DeKalb Co, State of Indiana of the
age of 80 years and being of sound and disposing mind and memory do
make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following.
That is to say.
FIRST, I direct my executor to pay out of my estate as soon after my death
and the death of my wife Catharine Treesh should she live longer than I
do all my just debts together with the expenses of our funerals including
monument to be erected at our graves the price thereof not to exceed
$50.00
SECOND. I give to my Son, Adam Treesh for labor performed and help given to
me and my wife Catharine Treesh, Four hundred dollars.
THIRD, I give to my Sons, George Treesh and JamesTreesh each Two Hundred
dollars for labor performed.
FOURTH, It is my desire should there any funds remaining that they be equally
divide between my children Adam Treesh, Anna Ruhl, Elizabeth A. Wiseman,
Emma Casselman, George Treesh, Sarah Zitsman, and James Treesh, excepting
Emma Casselman, who on account having already received house rent and some
articles not mentioned shall receive $50.00 less than either of the other
children above mentioned.
Fifth. I hereby appoint Myron S. Kutzner, sole Executor of this my last Will.
In witness wherefore I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 10th day of
April, 1916

The foregoing Instrument was at the date thereof signed and sealed by
the said Testator John J. Treesh as and for his last Will and Testament
in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in their presence
of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
