Contribute your cemetery transcriptions & photos!
Do you have full or partial Boone County cemetery transcriptions or gravestone photographs? Please consider contributing them to the Boone County INGenWeb for these pages. Many researchers are very grateful to find a record or photo of their ancestor's grave when they live many miles away and have no ability to visit the cemetery.

A Genealogy Tip!
Spend a day or two in your hometown walking, recording and possibly photographing a local cemetery. Then contribute your efforts to the USGenWeb Tombstone Transcription Project or the USGenWeb county website where the cemetery is located. It's not only a good act of genealogical kindness, but great exercise, too!

The dead carry with them to the grave in their clutched hands only that which they have given away.
