The Stark County Genealogical Society was organized on June 27, 1992. The purpose of the society is to collect, organize and store written and visual records of the county, also to offer research services by mail and at the Library. All to make researching in Stark County a joyful experience!
Visitors Are Always Welcome!
Our library and research rooms are at 115 S. Franklin St., Toulon, IL 61483, South of the State Bank of Toulon, right behind the bank. We are open Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. It is always a good idea to phone ahead when traveling in from out of town, and we will be prepared to assist you with your research. Membership runs from July 1 through June 30.
