The Leaf River Historical Society
was founded on March 9, 1995. The Historical Society has been
collecting and displaying the history of Leaf River and the surrounding
area. The society's function is to collect, research, preserve,
and display artifacts and documents that illustrate and reflect
the Leaf River area heritage. We believe that future generations
will better understand their heritage because of this knowledge
of the past.

The Leaf River Historical Society
members were busy last winter creating a special souvenir booklet.
Twenty-six pictures and descriptions of many historic business
buildings are featured. As Leaf River celebrates it's first 125
years, the souvenir booklet is a treasure that every family will
want to own. The calendar was created with countless hours of
research to find Leaf River events of note to fill each date.
The souvenir booklet can be purchased
for $7.00 plus .75 postage.
